One of the most Hindu religious observances, the Satyanarayan Puja is a ritual that every Hindu household performs. Whether it is before a marriage, to celebrate graduation, to pray for a sick person or to offer gratitude to the Almighty, this is one practice that has divine benefits.
When is Satyanarayan Puja done?
- Usually, the Satyanarayan Puja is done on the special full moon day, which is called Purnima, of every month.
- It can be done on Ekadasi – the eleventh day after the full moon.
- On Kartik Purnima.
- On solar eclipse day.
- On Vaisakha Purnima.
- On Sankranti.
While these special days are common beliefs in the mind of people, there’s no specific date or definite vidhi for performing this puja. It can be done whenever you want to do it.
